Letter from the Secretariat

Dear Delegates, Esteemed Chairs, and Honorable Guests,

It is with great pleasure and profound anticipation that we, the Secretariat of 101 Model United Nations 2025, announce the upcoming edition of our annual conference, to be held on December 5th–7th, 2025.

This year, 101MUN embraces a theme unlike any before — one inspired by the timeless magic of Disney. Through this theme, we aim to remind every delegate that diplomacy, much like storytelling, is built upon courage, imagination, and the belief that even the smallest voices can bring about the greatest change.

Our committees this year promise a diverse and intellectually engaging experience, offering participants a chance to explore diplomacy through a multitude of perspectives: • DISEC (Disarmament and International Security Committee): Strengthening African Security through the Reduction of Foreign Military Dependency. • UNODC (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime): Establishing Legal Jurisdiction and Accountability Mechanisms for Dark Web Crimes. • WHO (World Health Organization): Addressing the Lack of Medical Resources in War Zones and Ensuring the Security of Healthcare Workers. • UNSC (United Nations Security Council): The Yemeni Civil War (2014–Present). • MİT (Milli İstihbarat Teşkilatı): Addressing the Influence of Parallel Structures within Turkey. • The Roman Senate: Managing the Spread of Christianity and Maintaining Pax Deorum. • FJCC (Fictional Joint Crisis Committee): The Battle of Blackwater. • Divan-ı Hümayun: The Imperial Council of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. • The Cabinet of Jeanne d’Arc: Open Agenda.

Each committee represents a unique arena of political, historical, or fictional diplomacy — where logic meets creativity, and leadership is redefined through collaboration and vision.

At 101MUN, we believe that every delegate carries within them the ability to spark change, to craft resolutions that resonate far beyond the walls of debate, and to embody the values of empathy, intellect, and unity that this conference stands for.
